CPEFibre-G4G
Subscriber equipment for FTTH/FTTO transmission, Gigabit Ethernet - Multiservice, multi-operator
Description
The CPEFibre Ethernet module includes 1000Base-BX optical fibre access and 4 10/100/1000Base-TX ports, It allows to connect 1 to 4 IP equipment to an Ethernet network, via 1 single mode fibre up to 20 km.
Two configurations are available, either activated copper ports or desactivated copper ports for full control over the fibre optic network for client access.
The CPEFibre offers FTTx multiservice and multi-operator accesses. It is remotely configurable via its optical port. Each port can be separately controlled using layer 2 Ethernet functions (VLANs).
The CPEFibre are delivered with a 230 VAC / 12VDC power converter.
Modular conception
The CPEFibre IFOTEC has got a modular design. It can be put on a flat surface or hung / fixed vertically.
It is composed of three independent parts:
- The plinth to connect a cable with two optical fibres (fibre coiling)
- The network activation card (Ethernet switch)
- The translucent cover providing the operating indications of the module
Management
Software Features
Strictly Layer 2 operation.
- Management of 32 VLANs according to 802.1Q standards.
- Traffic limiting mechanism to set input/output rates on client ports.
- QoS management: 4 queues on all ports; traffic classification by port or VLAN or DSCP/802.1p field.
- Port mirroring.
- Energy Efficiency Ethernet management (802.3az).
- Configurable L2 MTU 2048 or 10240 bytes (MAC addresses + VLAN tags + data + FCS).
- Automatic configuration loading via TFTP. At start-up via DHCP options.
- Login/password management of the supervision interface via RADIUS authentication
Firmware update can be triggered via DHCP options. - Configuration file” management (Telnet command lines in text format) via Telnet and web page.
- Telnet productivity features (auto-completion of commands, display filtering, etc.).
- 802.1Q and 802.1ad (QinQ) VLAN stacking management with priority management (802.1p fields): the value of the 802.1p field (priority level) of the VLAN tag of the incoming frame is duplicated to the 802.1p field of the inserted VLAN tag (outer-tag).
- IGMP snooping V1/V2 per VLAN.
- Product configuration via Telnet and web pages. SNMP monitoring and alarm management functions (port status, MAC address table, throughput and error counters, etc.).
